Make All Men See - The Dispensation of the Mystery (Ephesians 3:9)

WHAT Church is true for us today in our present Dispensation? HOW is God presently dealing with the Nation of Israel (Jews), His "Chosen People" (Gen. 23:2-3; Gen. 32:28; Exodus 6:7) and the Gentiles (non-Jewish people)?

ACTS 28:28 says: Be it known therefore unto you (Jews), that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear (listen to) it.

Unless one understands the dispensations, one cannot understand the Bible (God's Book), and it becomes a Book of confusions and contradictions.

In Philippians 1:10, we are admonished to test the things that differ and having found them to be different, we should not mix them but rightly divide them (2 Timothy 2:15)

Definition:

A Dispensation is a period of time during which God deals in different times and various ways with man in respect to sin and man's responsibility. The word "dispensation" means "administration" and is first found in I Cor. 9:17

For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation (Greek: oikonomia) of the gospel is committed unto me. - I Cor. 9:17 (KJV)

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; - Hebrews 1:1-2 (KJV)

The Word of God (Bible) shows that there are TWO bodies of believers (or churches) that needs to be distinguished. One existed BEFORE Acts 28:28 and is called the "BRIDE" of Christ.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. - I Cor. 11:2 (KJV)

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the BRIDE, the Lamb's wife. - Rev. 21:9

The other Body AFTER Acts 28:28 is called the "One New Man".

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain ONE NEW MAN, so making peace; - Eph. 2:15 (KJV)

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the CHURCH, Which is HIS body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. - Eph. 1:22, 23

Note: A Man can never be a Bride.

Later, I will be adding more distinctions between the "Body of Christ" BEFORE Acts 28 and the "Body of Christ" AFTER Acts 28..
